Accounting Scholarships at Monash University, Australia

This scholarship is only available for Bachelor Degree students.

If you want to study abroad, especially Australia, there are scholarships for bachelor’s students at Monash University who majored in accounting and finance.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must be:
  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa, or
  • an international student, and
  • intending to enrol full-time in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree majoring in accounting or finance at a Monash campus in Australia.
Selection criteria
Awarded to eligible students on the basis of academic achievement in accounting or finance units during the final two years of their degree and any prizes awarded for academic achievement. Final selection will be by a panel interview.
Value and number available
$6000 per annum for one year only. Up to two scholarships are available.
Retention
Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment and a minimum of a distinction weighted average mark (70 per cent).
Applications
All eligible students will be automatically assessed based on course application.
No application is required as all eligible students will be automatically considered.

ICE WaRM International Scholarships, Master in Water Resources Management

ICE WaRM offers a scholarship programme to attract high quality international students to education and training in water resources management, delivered by ICE WaRM partner institutions.
The ICE WaRM scholarship programme aims to:
  • provide high calibre students with the opportunity to study with ICE WaRM partners to further their knowledge;
  • provide students with the opportunity to participate in research and advance their scientific knowledge in water resources management;
  • encourage the exchange of ideas on best practice within water-related fields;
  • provide students with the opportunity to participate in presentations, conferences, seminars and forums on contemporary issues in water resources management;
  • provide the opportunity for students from organisations and countries currently facing major water issues to participate in programmes which they may not be able to fund; and
  • demonstrate a commitment to cultural change and diversity and the international sharing of knowledge and skills related to water resources management.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CLOSING DATES
Semester 1 (February 2012) – Deadline 26th August 2011
Semester 2 (July 2012) – Deadline 24th February 2012
ICE WaRM offers two rounds of scholarships annually, in February and July. Applicants are able to begin applying for current or future rounds at any time. The current round (to commence in Semester 1 – February 2012 has a deadline of 26th August, 2011.

SEARCA Graduate Scholarship for MS/PhD, Southeast Asia Students


The following graduate scholarship was started from academic year 1968-69 and furthermore is designed to ensure the relevance and also responsiveness of Southeast Asia’s agricultural scientists and professionals in order to global sustainable development concerns.

This program offers guidance to obtain advanced studies leading to the Master of science and PhD degrees in agriculture, forestry, and relevant subjects. SEARCA aims to get ready highly skilled professionals doing work in agricultural as well as rural development regarding positions of leadership in SEAMEO member countries.
At the time of Academic Year 2009/2010, SEARCA provides granted 1,250 scholarships or school funding, the fact that 1,056 study courses (448 PhD, 608 MS) had been finished.
Over the decades, the Graduate Study Program has expanded its scope to include institutional development and networking activities and services to enhance graduate education in the region. SEARCA also provides services for administration of scholarship funds under the sponsorship of institutions other than SEAMEO.

The Masters (MS)/PhD Scholarship Programme aims to ensure the relevance and responsiveness of Southeast Asia’s agricultural scientists and professionals to global sustainable development issues.
